FedEx Phils. still committed to serve the Philippine Market

Effective February 2009, FedEx will use facilities at the Clark International Airport in the Philippines to transit FedEx Taiwan flights to its new Asia-Pacific Hub in Guangzhou, China, to fulfill its operational needs that comply with current aviation regulations. FedEx will be using Clark as a landing and takeoff site.

FedEx will maintain its presence in the Philippines and remains committed to the Philippine market in the long term as we expand our operations gateway in Manila, with back-office facilities being ramped up as part of a regional strategy to centralize certain services.

Through our global service participant AF2100, FedEx will continue to provide innovative service to our customers, as we have done since we first committed to the Philippine market in 1989.
